Couples Therapy (Telehealth)

• CPT Code: 90847 — Family Psychotherapy (with patient present)
• Session Length: 50 minutes
• Description: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) sessions help partnerships identify and transform the emotional cycles that fuel distance, conflict, or defensiveness. Sessions often include exploration of sexuality and sexual wellness as integral aspects of emotional intimacy. Therapy supports partners in learning new ways to communicate, reconnect, and experience deeper emotional and physical closeness.

Clinical Supervision

• CPT Code: N/A (professional service)
• Session Length: 60 minutes
• Description: AAMFT-approved and Texas State Board-approved MFT supervision for associate MFTs and early-career clinicians licensed or pursuing LMFT licensure in Texas or Connecticut. Supervision integrates relational ethics, systemic conceptualization, and self-of-the-therapist reflection to support professional development and clinical confidence.

Payment & Insurance Policy: BetterUs Couples Therapy PLLC is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. Clients are responsible for payment at the time of service. Upon request, clients may receive a monthly superbill (a detailed receipt) to submit to their insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

Sliding Scale Policy: A limited number of reduced-fee slots are available based on financial hardship and availability. Please inquire if cost is a barrier to care.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy: Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be billed at the full session rate.

Payment Methods: All major credit cards and HSA/FSA cards are accepted through a secure SimplePractice payment system.
